Easter Baskets and new church clothes. Symi had a fever and had thrown up that night. She was still sleeping when the festivities started. We think she ate something that made her sick.
"Mom! A treat!"
A whole package of sour jelly beans!
Symi finally joined us. She had bed head from fevery sweat and restlessness. But she too was quite pleased with her stash.
New bug nets for my little critter catchers.
Symi was determined to wear her dress and have her hair done up like a princess. She was still feverish and miserable but really didn't want to miss Easter Sunday. Super Man joined the Princess in a stylish hair photoshoot.
Front side. Happy Face!
My 2 handsome boys all dressed up and ready to go!
And yes. Here we have the goofy faces.
We like to do our Easter Baskets on Saturday morning. Color eggs. Do egg hunts. Our fun family traditions!
When Sunday comes we love to talk about Jesus and his Resurrection. We also do a special Egg Hunt. Where in 12 eggs are hidden Scriptures about the last week of Christ's life. In each egg is also a token representing the egg. For instance one egg talks about the last supper. Where Christ implimented the Sacrament. In the egg is a Sacrament cup symbolizing what we read and how we are still following the Savior today. Our whole family loves to cuddle together and waits anxiously for each egg to be opened.
Our Easter was beautiful. And we enjoyed doing it together.
